PRESS RELEASEDue to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, Sisters Productions regretfully announce that Nasyr Drum Camp 2017, set to take place in St. Martin on January 8th to the 14th , will be postponed to a later date in June or July. Many students who registered have called and expressed their concerns with the uncertainty of this economic restructure set to take place at the same time as our drum camp. I have discussed the issues with some students, their parents and with our sponsors and staff. With regards to their concerns and to the success and safety of this event, Nasyr and I have decided to postpone the drum camp. Another concern is the threat of the Zika virus on the island, with several of our venues taking place outside we feel that we are not comfortable with the risk even if it is minimal. Reports on the CDCwebsite have raised the threat level to 2 Practice Enhanced Precautions. Despite our policy of non refundable depositswe will gladly refund all deposits to our students. Those who wish to leave their deposits in trust for our rescheduled drum camp will be entitled to a 25% discount. We apologize for the inconvenience that you may suffer as a result of this delay and we thank you for the many emails and for the overwhelming support you have given us. We would also like to thank our sponsors for the understanding and continuous support they have shown us for our future event. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
